Tonight in Danville: Dairy Daddies host Clayton Clovers for Weekday Winnings night

It's a Wednesday night in Danville, Virginia, and Dan Daniel Memorial Park is about to fill up. First pitch is 7 PM — the Danville Dairy Daddies vs. the Clayton Clovers — and the front office has turned the midweek slot into something it calls Weekday Winnings.

Eight prizes go out over the course of the night to randomly drawn fans. The wheel on the video board lands on merchandise discounts, free tickets, free gear, premium concessions. The headline prize, the one the PA voice will lean on, is a brand-new 43-inch Roku television. You have to be in your seat to claim it.
